The most important procedure
  • In publishing the list below, which highlights all the aspects to keep in mind when making a shipment both national and international, we want to emphasize that the most important procedure to follow, which will allow you to obtain a service without problems and unpleasant surprises, is undoubtedly the one related to choosing a highly professional partner with the ability to listen to you, advise you and assist you during all phases of the shipment.
  • EXPRESS DELIVERY IS YOUR IDEAL PARTNER WHO WILL BE ABLE TO HANDLE ALL THE PROBLEMS HIGHLIGHTED BELOW FOR YOU
Packaging
  • So that your shipment arrives safely and on time, pack your goods properly. This is one of the most important things to do to reduce the risk of delays and damage during transport.
  • Boxes: use rigid boxes in good condition, which are not too large for their contents
  • Spaces: avoid empty spaces because they reduce the strength of the packaging
  • Sealing: use adequate adhesive tape and seal both the top and bottom of the box.
  • Labels: apply labels on the top so that the barcode is readable and not folded
  • Pallets: Use strapping and/or wrapping with stretch film to hold items in position on the pallet
  • Protrusions: It is preferable that items do not protrude beyond the edge of the pallet.
  • Irregularities: Contact us for advice on packaging irregularly shaped items.
Labeling
  • Correct labeling facilitates shipping procedures and allows us to do our work with greater precision and speed.
  • Position: apply labels on the top so that the barcode is readable and not folded
  • Old labels: always remove old labels before applying new ones
  • Copies: insert a copy of the shipping documents inside the box
Regulations
  • Guidelines on international regulations, customs clearance and shipping of special or dangerous goods.
  • Customs: for international shipments always check customs clearance regulations
  • Tariffs and duties: goods shipped abroad are often subject to customs duties which vary depending on the destination and the value of the shipment itself.
  • What you can ship: Many countries perform strict controls on what can enter or leave their territory, for this reason goods may run the risk of being confiscated or destroyed for non-compliance. Make sure that the goods you want to ship are not subject to restrictions, prohibitions, nor that they violate international sanctions.
